ST JOHNS COURSES

Trainers and their staff are invited to attend First Aid courses that have been put together specifically for the racing industry. These are being funded by NZTR, so are FREE and are as a result of an NZ Trainers’ Association submission. It will just be one, 4 hour course and a certificate will be provided for attendees. It is an OSH requirement that at least one staff member in a racing stable has a certificate – this is part of our push to ensure ACC rates are reduced.

The following dates have been arranged – all will run from 11am – 3pm:

Pukekohe Park – Thursday 26 September

Awapuni – Friday 27th September

Riccarton Park – Thursday 3rd October

Cambridge Training Centre – Thursday 10th October

Matamata Racecourse – Tuesday 15th October

Please register your interest with Kirstie Lang at the Racing Bureau (kirstie.lang@nzracing.co.nz). – there is a limit of 20 people, so be in quick!
